What do you hope to get out of this class?

NOTE: The Texas LTC course is not a introductory pistol course. You will learn great information about handguns and how they operate, but this course DOES NOT teach you HOW to shoot. If you want basic firearms instruction, register for the NRA Basic Pistol class.

I understand that this is a licensing class. I understand there is a shooting qualification and a written exam that I must be able to pass to receive credit for the course.

I understand that there will be NO firearms or ammunition allowed in the classroom. Firearms and ammo must be locked in the vehicle during classroom instruction.

I understand that I am responsible for bringing an operational firearm (semi-automatic pistol or revolver from .22 caliber up to .45ACP) and approximately 100 rounds of quality ammunition for that firearm. (Red dot sights are permitted, scopes and/or magnifiers are not.)

I understand that I am responsible for bringing proper eye and ear protection for the time at the range. I will also make sure to have some type of head covering (ball caps are fine) and closed toe shoes. (Long pants are recommended, but not required)
